Communication is one of the distinctive features of MCU and new media communication is the main trend in recent years. In order to enhance on-campus information flow, to collect and display faculty members’ and students’ works and to assist the institution in promoting university affairs, the Internet Television Station Management Division was established in February 2016. It was renamed as the Digital Education and Internet Television Station Division in January 2019. It is in charge of collecting, dealing with, maintaining, displaying on-campus media content and developing the relevant skills. The Digital Education and Internet Television Station Division is also tasked to establish a media cloud and display space to, as a unit, make external announcements for the institution. Internally, it promotes institutional policy, shares resources and collects digital data on campus to enhance MCU’s development features in communication and new media in this Internet age.
Goals
Enhance faculty, staff and students’ affinity for the institution, extend MCU’s feature of new media communication to uphold one mission and three goals of professionalism, excellence and internationalization based on MCU education philosophy, by integrating the institution’s digital assets through excellent technology.
